We felt comfortable with the results we found, and we purchased a 4 pack deal from them. All of our properties have been successfully rented; and we have a good cash flow coming in each month. “A funny thing happened yesterday…I work for AT&T as a Central Office manager and frequently work with contractors who upgrade and fix my offices or do building additions and such. There’s a gentleman I’ve worked with for 3 years who, after our Air Handler Installation inspection, asked me to join him and another guy for lunch. We got to talking and the subject turned to real estate. Low and behold, this guy I’ve known for 3 years also owns his own business in addition to working for this contracting company that AT&T uses regularly. He continued to tell me that he is a General Contractor out of Temecula but works all over from LA to San Diego. He particularly loves working with a friend of his who does Land Development and they work together to get the land ready to build commercial properties and/or prepare the property for commercial and then sell it. When he heard what I was doing, he immediately gave me his cards and we couldn’t stop talking about it! J it was a fun and motivating day to say the least! He, like you, said the key to his success is not to be greedy – get what you need out of the deal and share the wealth – and keep your word, because trust is everything. He said he’s looking forward to working with me and even said he’d walk thru some of the vacants I will run across to help me get a feel for what repairs would be – and he said he’d do it for free in hopes I’d use him for a job when I get a vacant place I may want to rehab. He also said he may decide to purchase it in wholesale from me so he can fix it up and sell it for a bigger profit! I don’t know who was more excited, him or me!?”

I've had little time to absorb much since that tour because I left for Mexico 2 days later to buy a condo on the beach in Manzanillo.  I just got back Wednesday of this week.  Thanks to Wendy and cell phones we were able to keep in touch and she kept me informed as to what was going on here with the properties we had put offers on.  The Mexico trip was interesting because even though buying is pretty simple, the notary has all the power.  Notaries have 5 years more education than an attorney, are very proud and the ones I was dealing with were both in politics and didn't like each other.  Like I said, it was an experience.  Anyway, it was a project we couldn't resist; beachfront condo, 2bdrm, 2 bath with pool for $48,600 and the value has already gone up 20%.
 
I look forward to a long relationship with Team Guting … I feel like your team is an ally I can trust and count on.   Again, thank you.

The Bus Tour was wonderful, and all of you made it an extremely educational and enjoyable experience. In particular, I enjoyed learning about the history of the properties, and information about the areas that we went though so we could learn how you arrived at your ARV (after repair value).   My wife and I really enjoyed the bus tour. It was not what we expected at all. We thought we’ll just drive around and view properties and that would be it. But to have the team stay after, and be willing to work with us in the future just blew us away!
     Living out here in Hawaii we always feel like we missed the boat in the Hawaiian market, but after the tour we feel like finally … we’re at the right place at the right time. Thanks to you and your team!

My frustration with training has been networking with beginners (no offense) but my wife and I have been investing in buy and hold since 1999 and subsequently I have worked in land development and some of the larger development and construction projects in Bozeman, MT. I have also been involved in development marketing here in Billings. I love to share my successes with those just starting out but I am looking forward, through the new contacts I am making at training and beyond, to walk a few miles in others footsteps. As I may have said in San Jose, finding a mentor was almost impossible when I started out so most learning came from books and trial and error. I am not a novice, but I have been going the “conventional” route since 1999. That is why I am so excited about the advanced trainings and finally meeting likeminded individuals who are not threatened by my wanting to learn, moreover how we can all benefit together---Finally!!!

Hello everyone!

I had a good time on the tour even though I was sick :(. I love that you guys work so hard on putting these together and I appreciate how
much work goes into these sorts of affairs. Your first WealthFest was
fabulous!

This was great on concept, but a few suggestions. Some sort of refreshment for those who arrived early and / or on time would have been great. I'm not asking for champagne.. but some cold water or coffee would have been appreciated, where it was help yourself. I am grateful that you did go around and offer once things got under way.

Lunch was terrific.. the only trouble was, there were no tables, so it was tough balancing everything. Invest in some coolers ;) I like cold drinks with my lunch.

And lastly, end closer to the projected time! I felt bad leaving, even though the event ran 2 hours longer than projected! I hate to leave before it's over!

As for the houses, it seemed a few places were not expecting us so it was disappointing not being able to get into some of the houses.
Miscommunication? Planning shortfall? Not sure here what needs looking at for the future.

All in all, I'd go on another tour for sure! You guys are a powerful force!
